FAQ

Based on our 20 years of experience in the field of refrigeration, we have done a research and developed basic product with technological collaboration  with China’s heat pump manufacturing giant. And then we’ve launched enhanced high efficient heat pump. We’ve adopted a latest technological control systems from one of the Chinese brand.

Heat pump water heaters absorb warmth from the air and transfer it to heat water. Hence they are also referred to as ‘air-source heat pumps’. They operate on electricity but are roughly three-four times more efficient than a conventional electric water heater. When used in the right environment they save energy, save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

This can vary significantly depending on the how much water need to be heat. One of our designers will do a heat load and cooling load calculation, which is used to determine what size unit is appropriate.

Heat pumps are very quiet. Noise is measured in decibels (db). Most indoor units operate between 22 and 40 db. Most outdoor units operate between 47 and 57 db. To put this in context, a whisper is ~ 30 db; a running refrigerator is ~ 50 db.

The only maintenance required of the homeowner is to check high pressure gauge to see the scaling inside heat exchanger due to poor quality of water. Consult your owners’ manual for the instruction on changing filters. We do recommend having your heat pump system checked annually for leaks and to clean the outside unit.
While solar water heating systems do produce free hot water, they can only operate when there is sufficient sunshine. Therefore they have to rely on an electrical backup on cloudy/rainy days & in winter which adds to the electricity cost. The heat pump water heaters on the other hand can work in any weather, day or night without the use of a backup system right down to -7°c. The volume & temperature of hot water from a solar system will vary with weather; in a heat pump water heater this is constant & irrespective of weather conditions.
  • Major energy savings upto 75% compared to electric water heaters.
  • Households or commercial enterprises with large hot water usage can get huge savings from a heat pump water heater.
  • Convenience of always available hot water.
  • Environment friendly, green technology. No electric heating elements; safer & more reliable system.
There are no subsidies, however, any commercial or industrial enterprise can avail of accelerated 80% Depreciation on their investment in Heat Pump Water heaters which are classified as “Energy saving Devices” under Income Tax Act. Additional depreciation benefits will reduce the payback time for these enterprises.
For the regular models the maximum temperature it can provide is 60°c. but we have high temperature models also to fulfill industrial needs.
